Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, The Social Network [Sampler]

After watching The Social Network this weekend, I was haunted by the movie’s amazing soundtrack composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The movie’s biting dialogue and Jesse Eisenberg’s introverted portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg were only heightened by the seemingly simple, yet dark score.

Continuing in the trend of free music (hey it’s all because of some guy named Sean Parker), a 5-track sampler is available for free (or buy the entire soundtrack at Amazon). Listen to the sampler below:

Munchausen By Proxy (ft. Zooey Deschanel), “Sweet Ballad”

There is nothing better than a bit of 80’s, synth pop. Get Up, Stay Down just posted an over-looked track from the Yes Man Soundtrack featuring Zooey Deschanel. It is a killer record that could have easily found a place on The Informers Soundtrack. Who knew Zooey could do something other than 70’s pop?
